A STIMULUS PACKAGE FOR SAINT MARK’S

This is an idea which is definitely POSSIBLE with participation and cooperation of the members of Saint Mark’s

The government has promised a “rebate” or “stimulus” to the economy by sending checks to the citizens in early May. The exact amount in each check is not yet known. Since the amount is not known and the money is not already in our bank accounts nor in our wallets it is virtually “found” money. We would not have to take anything out of our budgets, cook for fund raising dinners, sell tickets or exert any effort whatsoever– just take those checks-endorse them over to Saint Mark’s and that money would certainly be a STIMULUS to Saint Mark’s. It would achieve the government’s goal as a stimulus and would be painless to us.

CAMPUS MINISTRY ends today and will resume on August 31.

PLEASE BRING FOOD TO FEED THE HUNGRY! We need non-perishable items to be distributed to those less fortunate. Clothes are also welcomed! Help as you are able. The white box is located in our narthex.

PLEASE HELP THOSE IN NEED! Our Helping Hand Fund is always willing to accept any donations. This fund is used to help those who are in financial need. Thank you.

LOOKING FOR A LUNCH ALTERNATIVE then join us on Wednesday’s at noon for fellowship, followed by a pretty good potluck lunch. For information just call the church office at 305-444-0425.
